To make a secure connection

Registering an application is a prerequisite for using the Microsoft identity platform’s services, ensuring secure and streamlined identity management for your application. It’s a foundational step in integrating your application with Azure Entra’s ecosystem.

Goto Azure Entra admin center (AD i Azure). You need to be at least a "Cloud Application Administrator"
Select app registration from the panel.
Click "New Registration"
Chose a friendly name for your registration.
Chose Supported account types. How's going to have access to this application.
You can use a redirect URI to your account but that's optional.
